KEPRI - Riau Islands Governor (Kepri) Ansar Ahmad asked that the salaries of non-ASN Education Personnel Employees (PTK) be paid as soon as possible following many complaints regarding their late salaries for September 2022. Ansar said that the salary budget for thousands of non-ASN PTKs within the Riau Islands Provincial Government had to be accommodated in the 2022 Revised Regional Budget. This is considering that the Riau Islands Education Office only allocates non-ASN PTK salaries for only six months, not one fiscal year. "Finally, we have to budget again in the Revised 2022 APBD. We will try to do it as soon as possible, if the Revised APBD is ratified, it will be paid immediately," said Ansar in Tanjungpinang, Antara, Monday, September 12. Ansar also hopes that similar problems will not be repeated. He has repeatedly reminded all heads of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) so that the salaries of honorary workers must be prioritized so that there are no delays. According to him, the salaries of non-ASN PTK, which are nominally close to Rp. 3 million, are certainly needed by non-ASN PTK to meet the needs of daily life, especially in the midst of the current global crisis. "They must really depend on the monthly salary, especially those who are married, it will be a greater burden," said Ansar. Meanwhile, Head of the Riau Islands Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) Venni Meitaria Detiawati said the delay in PTK non-ASN salaries in September 2022 was triggered by administrative errors. He explained that the administrative problem in question was that there was a calculation error related to the salaries of non-ASN PTK in mid-2022. "Money that goes into non-ASN PTK accounts is different when data entry is carried out," he said. The administrative error, he continued, made the salaries of non-ASN PTK in September 2022 unable to be disbursed because the budget was stuck and had already been included in the Revised Regional Budget this year. "God willing, this month the Revised APBD has been ratified," he said. Venni also straightened out the news that the delay in PTK's non-ASN salary this month was due to the vacant condition of the regional treasury. "This delay is only due to administrative errors," he asserted. A number of non-ASN PTKs from the Riau Islands Provincial Government previously complained because their salaries in September 2022 were delayed. Usually their salaries have been entered into accounts every 1st, but to this day they have not been realized.
