PALU - PT Pos Indonesia Central Sulawesi Branch applies three patterns of distributing social security assistance in the form of BLT BBM and basic food assistance to beneficiary families (KPM) in the area.

Head of the PT Pos Indonesia Office Central Sulawesi Branch Muhammad Subhan, in Palu, Sunday explained, the application of the pattern of distribution of BLT BBM and basic food assistance aims to meet the time targets given by the government to PT Pos Indonesia in the distribution of social security assistance.

"Yes, this is to pursue the target time given by the government, namely 14 days of distribution of BBM BLT and basic food assistance," said Subhan, quoted by Antara on the sidelines of the distribution of BBM BLT and basic food assistance at the Central Sulawesi Branch of Indonesia Post Office, Sunday 11 September.

Subhan rangkat, pola pertama yang diterapkan yaitu pembayaran/peluran BLT BBM dan bansos sembako melalui masing-masing kantor postal di tingkat kecamatan, kabupaten/kota serta provinsi.

The distribution of aid at the PT Pos Indonesia Office is regulated based on the schedule of each village/kelurahan and sub-district, so that there is no accumulation of people at the Indonesian Post Office at all levels of the region in Central Sulawesi.

Next is the door to door pattern, namely PT Pos Indonesia officers visiting/responding to the beneficiary families directly in the village/kelurahan. This pattern, said Subhan, is only prioritized for KPMs categorized as special needs (disabled) or sick.

"We do not require them (disabled and sick people) to come to the Post Office, but officers who come directly to the house," he said.

Then, the payment/distribution pattern of BLT BBM and community-based basic food assistance, namely distribution carried out by PT Pos officers for beneficiary families located in areas - the farthest and remote areas.

"So that it helps KPM to be able to receive the assistance, at least in the area closest to it, namely at the village office or sub-district office, rather than having to go to the Post Office which is far from KPM's house," he said.

PT Pos Indonesia has 58 outlets/Postors spread across 12 regencies and one city in Central Sulawesi, all of which are currently aggressively distributing BBM BLT and basic food assistance.

"So residents who receive BLT BBM and basic food assistance close to the outlet can visit the outlet to receive assistance," he said.

He appealed to KPMs to continue to comply with health protocols, especially wearing masks in the process of collecting BLT fuel assistance and basic food assistance.

"If there is a KPM that has not yet arrived on the day of scheduling the receipt of assistance, then it can come back on the day of the distribution of aid, to receive the assistance," he said.
