King Charles III: My Life Will Change

JAKARTA - The life of King Charles III will suddenly change completely after being appointed as the replacement for Queen Elizabeth II to lead Great Britain. And King Charles is ready with it all.

King Charles vowed to serve with his country's loyalty, respect, and love, in a speech delivered as quoted by The Guardian, Saturday, September 10.

The speech of King Charles III was so emotional. While ago, he also paid tribute to his mother, the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth lived a good life, a promise with destiny kept. I renew the promise of life services to all of you today," said King Charles III.

In a speech reflecting his transition from heir to the throne to king, he also acknowledged his role had to change.

"I grew up respecting my sense of obligation to others, and to respect the valuable traditions, freedoms, and responsibilities of our unique history and the system of our parliamentary government," he said.

"As the Queen herself does with firm service, I also now sincerely promise myself, all the time that God has given me, to uphold constitutional principles in the heart of our nation."

My life will of course change when I take on my new responsibilities. It's impossible for me to give so much time and energy to my charity and issues that I really care about. But I know this important job will continue in the hands of others who can be trusted," he continued.

To William, who now inherits the Duke of total Charles title, Raja said, "Today, I am proud to appoint him the Prince of Wales, Tywysog Cymru, a country that I have held so hard for my life and duty,"

"I also want to express my love for Harry and Meghan because they continue to build their lives abroad," he said.
