JAKARTA - The masses who are members of several labor groups seem to have visited the entrance or main gate of the House of Representatives (DPR) Building, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, September 6.

At 10.40 WIB, it was seen that the workers wearing black red uniforms walked from the direction of the Senayan flyover (flyover) in Central Jakarta to the main door of the DPR RI Building.

They walked to cover almost all sides of Jalan Gatot Subroto which was heading to Slipi. As a result, some passing vehicles were diverted to the far right to the TransJakarta bus lane.

At the same time, traffic officers were watching hundreds of workers who were walking. Until this news was reported, they walked in an orderly and conducive manner.

At the same time, the President of the Labor Party, Said Iqbal, said that the DPR building would become a demonstration center for workers in Jabodetabek.

"It is estimated that there are 2,000 workers who will attend," said Said Iqbal in front of the DPR RI building.

The same action was also carried out by workers who live in 20 provinces. They held an action in every Provincial Government building this Tuesday.

To note, several elements of workers and other masses brought some demands in this Tuesday's demonstration.

The demands brought by the masses include rejecting the increase in fuel prices that have just been announced by the government.

Previously, the government raised the price of Pertalite from Rp. 7,650 per liter to Rp. 10,000 per liter, subsidized diesel from Rp. 5,150 per liter to Rp. 6,800 per liter, non-subsidized Pertamax rose from Rp. 12,500 to Rp. 14,500 per liter since Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 14.30 WIB.
