Taiwan Tak Asal Gertak, The 'Nyelonong' Drone Entered Straight Away

JAKARTA - Taiwan is not just talking about its sovereign guard affairs. The drone that repeatedly entered its territory was finally shot down.

Previously, Taiwan had confirmed that it would use its right to defend itself and launch backlashes that interfered with the expiration. Many of the alleged parties referred to the Chinese military. Beijing is indeed increasing military activity near the island.

Taiwan's military for the first time shot down a civilian drone entering its airspace near a small island located next to China's Xiamen city on Thursday 1 September. And this is also evidence of a pledge to take a crackdown on security disturbances.

The incident came after Taiwan repeatedly complained of abuse by drones arriving from China and flying right near the Kinmen island. All of these incidents occurred when Beijing held military exercises around Taiwan.

Speaking to reporters, Taiwanese Prime Minister Su Tseng-chang said Taiwan had repeatedly issued warnings and asked 'they' not to violate the door line.

"They repeatedly ignored our warnings to leave and we had no choice but to defend ourselves and shoot. This is the most appropriate reaction after restraint and repeated warnings," Su Tseng-chang was quoted as saying by Channel News Asia.

"We will never provoke, and we will do the most appropriate thing to protect our land and our people," he continued.

The drone was shot down after entering limited airspace near Lion's small island, and plunged into the sea, according to the Taiwanese military.

Chinese troops have been training near Taiwan since the start of last month, following US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taipei, which angered Beijing.
