Anies's Subordinates Open The Chance Of KRL Joining Transportation Integration Tariffs Of Rp. 10 Thousand Next Year

Kamal said the evaluation was carried out after six months of testing the integration rate on Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta. It is estimated that the trial will be completed in December 2022. "For the current recommendation, the 3 mode integration rate must be evaluated within 6 months since last June. That means, focus until December to the 3 mode integration rate. Later we will report the results of the evaluation," said Kamal. After that, the application of integration rates can be extended to KRL. Kamal opens the opportunity to add KRL modes to the implementation of an integration rate of a maximum of Rp. 10,000 next year. "It could be possible 2023. We are committed to follow-up. When it comes to integration rates, in other cities (outside), most of the rates are integrated for all modes," he said. However, Kamal said there needed to be in-depth discussions to combine integration rates between transportation modes belonging to the local government and the central government. "Of course the stakeholders are different. This is a discussion that must first start with the Ministry of Transportation. So, hopefully this can be a basis for consideration for the Ministry of Transportation to consider our study," said Kamal. For information, the use of the integration rate for Transjakarta transportation modes, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta has been applied a maximum of Rp. 10,000. This integration rate has only been applied through ticket purchases on the Jak Lingko application. When using an integration rate through the JakLingko application, users of the mode of transportation are only charged a maximum of Rp. 10,000 for up to 180 minutes or 3 hours. The implementation of the transportation integration rate of a maximum of Rp. 10,000 was determined by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan through Governor's Decree Number 733 of 2022 concerning the amount of the Mass General Transportation Service Tariff Package. The initial cost of the integration rate is Rp. 2,500 which will be imposed on passengers when entering the bus stop, station, or passenger transportation service (feeder). After paying the initial fee, the next travel rate paid by passengers is based on the required travel distance, which is Rp250 per kilometer. Then, there is the maximum number of travel rates of Rp10 thousand. In this condition, passengers have not left the mode of transportation since they first laid electronic payment instruments to end the trip by placing the payment equipment back on the tap out machine. If passengers want to transit from one mode of transportation to another, then the transfer is carried out at the bus stop or integration station that is already available. Meanwhile, if on one trip passengers spend more than 180 minutes, then apart from the maximum number of tariffs as referred to, the next travel tariff package will be calculated.
