Many Are Noisy In Asking For The Direction Of The 2024 Presidential Election, Jokowi: Just relax

JAKARTA - President Jokowi admitted that many had whispered asking for support in the 2024 Presidential Election. However, he did not want to rush to make choices so he would not make mistakes.

The statement was uploaded to Jokowi's Instagram account with the caption 'Support Who Will Be Later?' today, Saturday, August 27. The president delivered the speech at the Gelora Stadium in Surabaya on August 21, 2022.

"Many whispers to me "Pak Niki ndukung sinten, Nggih, Pak? (Sir, who does this support, sir?)", Jokowi said imitating the questions he heard.

"Sik (One moment). Don't rush it, don't rush it wrong (don't get it wrong)", he continued.

The former governor of DKI Jakarta said that his political affairs should not be rushed. There are more important things to take care of, namely the country's economic problems.

"Relax, we will solve political matters, the most important thing is our economic affairs, we will solve them together with the instructions, agree with it", said Jokowi.

Previously, Jokowi also spoke so that all parties would not rush to make choices in the 2024 presidential election. He said that figures with electability would not necessarily be submitted by the party.

According to the constitution, Jokowi continued, anyone who advances as a presidential and vice presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election must be promoted by certain parties and their coalitions. So all parties are asked to exercise restraint.
