Polda Metro Thinks About Suspending Detention Of Uploading Gambling Activity Content

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya is considering suspending the detention of Pekanbaru resident Masril for re-uploading the content of the case of former Head of the National Police Propam Division Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

"Regarding this case, the Metro Police will consider suspending the detention of the person concerned," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Endra Zulpan when confirmed, in Jakarta, Thursday, August 25, quoted from Antara.

However, Zulpan did not explain further about the reasons for considering the suspension of Masril's detention.

However, he confirmed that Masril had been detained by the Polda Metro Jaya for 22 days.

"Yes, it is true that he has been detained for 22 days," he said.

Masril was arrested based on the police report numbered LP/A/846/VII/2022/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya on July 29, 2022.

Then, he was arrested by officers on July 31, 2022 at his home on Jalan Hang Tuah, Tanayan Raya, Pekanbaru City.

Police reports with code A or type A reports are reports made by members of the National Police.

Masril previously re-uploaded content containing a discussion of alleged gambling activities which was first uploaded by the @opposite6890 account.

Masril is also said to have tagged #BerantasJudiOnline in an upload on his social media account.
