CENTRAL LOMBOK - Praya Regional General Hospital (RSUD) services in Central Lombok, NTB continue to run after the Director of Praya Hospital, ML was named a suspect in the alleged budget corruption case at the hospital.

In addition to detaining the Director of the Praya Hospital, the Attorney General's Office also detained two other suspects, namely the Treasurer with the initials BP and the PPK at the Praya Hospital, with the initials AS.

The head of the Central Lombok District Attorney's Office, Fadil Regan Wahid, said his party had named three suspects in the 2017-2020 Praya Hospital budget corruption case.

"After finding quite strong evidence, today we have named and detained three suspects in the case," he said.

The case has been handled since 2021 and in November was raised to the investigation stage, after indications of state losses were found.

While the number of witnesses who have been examined in this case is around 40 witnesses, both from the Praya Hospital and officials in the Central Lombok Regency Government.

Based on the results of the examination and audit of state financial losses in the case of alleged corruption in the Praya Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) funds, it reached Rp1.8 billion.

"The large temporary state losses were obtained from a mark up of Rp. 900 million, a discount of Rp. 890 million and bribes of Rp. 10 million to Rp. 15 million," he said.
