BENGKULU - Three of the four detainees from the Segara Bay Police Headquarters, Bengkulu who escaped a few days ago, were arrested.

The four detainees, namely FR, AV, SE, and AN, escaped after breaking through the Mapolsek WC wall.

"We have found three of the four prisoners who escaped, and one is still being chased," said Bengkulu Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Andi Dady Nurcahyo, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 24.

He explained that a joint team from the Bengkulu Police and the local police had been pursuing the four escaped prisoners.

According to him, the cause or indication of the escape of the four detainees is not yet known for certain.

However, the condition of the Segara Bay Police Headquarters building is an old building and must be repaired.

"It's natural maybe when the members are on picket, they take the moment to run away," said AKBP Andi.

According to Andi, one prisoner who is currently running away is still being chased by a special team, and he asked family members of the escaped prisoner to hand over the prisoner to the nearest police station.

Of the four prisoners who escaped, two of them are prosecutors entrusted to the Bengkulu District Attorney's Office.
