Brigadier J's Father Was Unable To Hold Back Tears When He Heard The Chanting Of 'My Son Naburju'

TANGERANG - Samuel Hutabarat as the father of the late Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J received the diploma of his son who had just graduated at the Open University Convention Center (UTCC) Building, South Tangerang, Tuesday, 23 August.

Watching VOI at the location, when Samuel received his son's diploma, the song 'Anakku Narburju' was heard to decorate the process.

Samuel Hutabarat appeared to wipe his tears with his hands several times, because he could not hold back his son's cries.

When asked what the song 'Anakku Narburju' means, Samuel explained that the song has a deep and hopeful message for his son.

"My son is going to be a good son, I can't sing well. I'm still sad. It means that my son is good, my favorite child, my son is virtuous," Samuel told reporters at the Open University, Tuesday, August 23.

Samuel recalled the struggle in raising Joshua from childhood until finally completing his studies at the Open University.

"As parents, we are very touched, we remember raising the deceased from childhood until the end of his life. We remember all the struggles of parents, especially since we are said to be not wealthy people, we can nurture him by God's guidance," he said.

"This is the sadness we feel personally or as a big family after he struggled to get his bachelor's degree, I who replaced the deceased was very sad," continued Samuel.
