Brigadier J's Re-Autopsy Results: No Signs Of Violence Apart From Firearms

JAKARTA - The forensic medicine team presented the results of the re-autopsy examination of Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J. It was stated that there were no injuries from the act of torture other than gunshot marks.

"We can confirm that according to the existing forensic science, there were no injuries other than gunshot wounds to the victim's body," said Team Leader Forensic Doctor Ade Firmansyah to reporters, Monday, August 22.

From the results of the re-autopsy, five gunshot wounds were found in and four gunshot wounds to the body of Brigadier J.

However, Brigadier J's body parts with gunshot wounds were not detailed.

"We saw not the direction of the shot but the entry of the bullets, there were 5 gunshot wounds entering and four gunshot wounds coming out," he said.

The Forensic Team said Brigadier J had two fatal wounds. Specifically, gunshot wounds to the chest and head.

"There were two fatal wounds on the chest and head," said Ade.

For information, the tissue examination process was carried out at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM). Brigadier J's body tissues were brought from Jambi to Jakarta when the re-autopsy was completed.

The re-autopsy process previously took place at Sungai Bahar Jambi Hospital on July 27. The re-autopsy was a request from the family to believe there were irregularities in the cause of Brigadier J's death.

In the case of Brigadier J's murder, the Special Team has named four suspects, namely Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Bharada Richard Eliezer, Brigadier Ricky Rizal, and Strong Maruf.

Most recently, the Timsus also named Putri Chandrawathi or the wife of Ferdy Sambo as the fifth suspect

The suspects were charged with Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.
