ACEH - The Rimueng Satreskrim Team of the Banda Aceh Police arrested two specialists in the theft of motorized vehicles across provinces from North Sumatra, the proceeds of which were also sold outside Aceh.

"In fact, some of the proceeds of the crime have been sold out of the provincial capital of Aceh," said Head of Criminal Investigation at the Banda Aceh Police, Kompol M Ryan Citra Yudha, quoting Antara, Sunday, August 21.

Ryan said the two perpetrators were Arif Prans (35) a resident of Senak Village, Pegajahan District, Serdang Bedagai and Susanto (29) a resident of Stabat Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. Both work as construction workers.

Ryan said that the two suspects carried out their actions in three locations within the jurisdiction of the Banda Aceh Police. Then, the proceeds of the crime were sold to Lhokseumawe and North Sumatra.

Ryan explained that when carrying out the action, the suspect used tools in the form of a Yamaha Jupiter MX tricycle with the Gampong Rumpet crime scene and a Yamaha Mio motorbike at the crime scene (TKP) in front of Warung Nasi Uduk Jeulingke.

"Meanwhile, for the TKP in front of the Ulee Kareng distribution store in Banda Aceh, the suspect did not use assistive devices," he said.

From their actions, said Ryan, they managed to get away with a Honda Beat motorcycle that he had sold to a dealer in Lhokseumawe. Meanwhile, the other Honda Scoopy vehicles were sold to North Sumatra, and the Honda Vario Techno was successfully secured by officers from the suspect's hands.

"In carrying out their actions, the suspects were caught on CCTV at the house of the victim Fahzijal, (53) residents of Rumpet, Krueng Barona Jaya and CCTV of Warung Nasi Uduk Kelapa Gading, Banda Aceh," he said.

Ryan said the motives of the suspects were to steal a special motor vehicle that was left behind by the key. Seen when the arrest was made there was no damage, locked evidence, and no other tools were found.

"Currently, the two suspects have been detained in the Banda Aceh Mapolresta cell, and are being charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code paragraph 1 and are threatened with seven years in prison," said Commissioner Ryan.
