Similar to her husband, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Putri is charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code regarding premeditated murder of a subsidiary to Article 338 of the Criminal Code regarding intentional murder in conjunction with Articles 55 and 56 Criminal Code.

The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) together with Komnas Perempuan reminded that the rights of Putri Candrawati must be respected and fulfilled by the state.

"We hope and recommend that the rights of Mrs. PC as a woman in conflict with the law be respected and fulfilled by the state," said Komnas Perempuan Commissioner Siti Aminah Tardi in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, August 19.

After being named a suspect, Komnas Perempuan said there were a number of rights regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP).

In addition to being part of the recovery of women who are in conflict with the law, from the beginning of the legal process to the trial and after the court's decision, this assistance is possible.
