Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's Case Becomes A Spotlight, Real Evidence Of Case Engineering And The Need For Public Information Disclosure Evaluated

JAKARTA - The case that happened to the former Head of the Propam Police Division, Ferdy Sambo, has attracted the attention of many parties. Not only because it involves senior police officers, but also a number of "drama" in it.

RI DPR member Taufik Basari also highlighted the case that made Ferdy Sambo a suspect. He said this incident proves that the engineering of the case is true.

He hopes that the special team formed by the National Police Chief will be able to uncover and resolve the case of Brigadier J's murder. In addition, the Timsus is also expected to be able to uncover and bring all the people responsible for fabricating the case.

"Regarding efforts to restore public trust in the National Police regarding the law enforcement process," he said, as quoted from Antara, Wednesday, August 17.

Meanwhile, Deputy General Chairperson of Prima, Alif Kamal, opened up public information in government institutions, especially the Indonesian National Police. He considered, this should be re-evaluated after the emergence of the Ferdy Sambo case.

Alif said this case was like unraveling a tangled thread. "It seems that there is no end. There have also been additional suspects, especially the main perpetrator, namely Ferdy Sambo himself, which has actually generated a new polemic," he said.

"The question that arises then is why only a few days ago Ferdy Sambo became a suspect. Was the internal investigation process related to this case deliberately not disclosed earlier," he continued.

Going forward, Alif asked the police to act honestly and openly in investigating the case.

"In a position like this, like it or not, public participation in asking the police to be honest and open in investigating this case must be intensified," he hoped.
