Deputy Regent Of Bandung Sahrul Gunawan Swings In The Style Of CFW To Celebrate The 77th Anniversary Of The Republic Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - A number of officials in Bandung Regency took part in a fashion show to celebrate the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, Wednesday, August 17, 2022.

This activity was held after the RI 77th Anniversary Ceremony which was held at Upakarti Field, Bandung Regency Government Office Complex. The officials strolled in the style of young Citayam Fashion Week (CFW) which had become a hot topic of discussion.

Officials who participated in this activity included Bandung Regent, Bandung Regent Dadang Supriatna and his wife, Deputy Regent of Bandung Sahrul Gunawan, service officials, to police and TNI officials.

They walked through the zebra crossing with full of confidence. As officials passed by, residents watching the event took their pictures.

"This is spontaneous, yes, which is held by the Bandung Regency Government, which is indeed due to several inputs, wishes from all," said the Regent of Bandung, Dadang Supriatna.

In addition to holding a CFW-style fashion show, the Bandung Regency Government also held a carnival for the community to enliven the celebration of Indonesian Independence Day which falls today. According to Dadang, each sub-district displays their creations in the carnival.

"This is indeed the pride and longing of the people of Bandung Regency, because in the past two years there have been no direct meetings," he said.

Dadang hopes that the activities held can foster enthusiasm to maintain the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) and implement the values of Pancasila.

"And also the value of diversity, of course. Even though they are different in ethnicity, language, they are still one unit, namely the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia," he said.
