Head Of PUPR Biak Numfor Returns Assets Of Official Cars Before The KPK Task Force

BIAK NUMFOR - Head of the Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Office of Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, Yacob Paru returned his official official car to the Biak Numfor Regency Government. The return was carried out in the presence of the Head of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Coordination Task Force for Supervision and Prevention, Dian Patria.

"The official car that I use every day is returned to the state as a regional asset. Yes, as of early August 2022 I have retired as an ASN. So, I have no right to use official vehicles anymore," said Yakob Paru after returning the official car to the Asset Financial Management Agency. Regions reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 15.

Those entitled to use official cars, according to Paru, are active ASNs who hold echelon positions to support work operations in local regional apparatus organizations.

"I hope that the return of official cars to local governments will be an example for all regional officials who have retired from ASN," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the KPK Coordination and Supervision Task Force Dian Patria gave high appreciation to the Head of the PUPR Service Yakob Paru for directly handing over the official vehicle to the Biak Numfor Regency Government.

"The attitude of regional officials who have retired as ASN immediately handed back official cars that are used daily. Yes, this attitude of Biak officials should be taken as an example," said Dian.

The attitude of the Biak Numfor Regency Government official with his own awareness of the PUPR Head Office to return the official work vehicle is considered a commendable attitude.

"The KPK Task Force together with the Biak Numfor Regency Government are happy to accept the return of the official car belonging to the Biak Numfor Regency Government to be used by other officials," he said.

The handover of the official car of the Head of PUPR Yakob Paru was marked by the handing over of the car keys to Plt. The Head of BPKAD Gunadi was witnessed by the Head of the KPK Task Force for Supervision and Prevention of Corruption Crimes, Regent Herry Ario Naap, Deputy Regent Calvin Mansnembra, and Chairman of the DPRD Mikha Rumaropen.
