Visiting TMII, Governor Ali Mazi Directly Instructs Southeast Sulawesi Pavilion Renovation: Progress Has Reached 40 Percent

JAKARTA - The Governor of Southeast Sulawesi, Ali Mazi, said that the progress of the renovation of the Southeast Sulawesi platform at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Jakarta has reached 40 percent.

"The revitalization of the Southeast Sulawesi platform, which has been running for 13 working days, is estimated to have reached approximately 40 percent completion," said Ali Mazi in a written statement, Spokesman for the Governor of Southeast Sulawesi, Ilham Q. Moehiddin, received by Antara, Sunday, August 14.

Ali Mazi returned to visit the Southeast Sulawesi platform at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah on Saturday 13 August. Governor's visit to ensure the progress of the revitalization of the Southeast Sulawesi platform.

Ali Mazi saw firsthand the process of revitalizing the Southeast Sulawesi pavilion and gave directions. In some parts, he directly instructs the process to make it faster and more robust. The instructions are then exemplified directly and witnessed together to see a faster and more efficient work process.

The governor recommended that revitalization really be able to image Southeast Sulawesi. In addition, the revitalization of the platform should reflect the cultural and natural characteristics of Southeast Sulawesi.

During his visit, the Governor was accompanied by the Acting Regional Secretary for Southeast Sulawesi Asrun Lio; Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Forestry Service Sahid; Head of Administration Bureau for Southeast Sulawesi Leaders Rahmat Hasan; Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Transportation Agency Muhammad Rajulan; Head of the La Haruna Southeast Sulawesi Plantation Service; and Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Liaison Agency, Wa Ode Kanufia Diki.

Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Liaison Agency, Wa Ode Kanufia Diki, said that the work on the platform is targeted for completion on August 23, 2022.

"We have to finish it early, the target on August 23, 2022 is to clean up the waste materials that are replaced, because on August 26, 2022 there will be an initial G20 activity at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah," he said.

Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Tourism Office, Belli Harli Tombili, stated that Southeast Sulawesi is ready to face the G20 by coordinating with the Regional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda) of districts/cities throughout Southeast Sulawesi.

He said that at Soekarno Hatta Airport Terminal 3, his party had displayed Southeast Sulawesi woven fabrics.

"I have assigned staff from the Southeast Sulawesi Tourism Office in this field to directly ensure Southeast Sulawesi's readiness for the G20 event," said Belli.
