JAKARTA - The wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Putri Chandrawathi, is strongly suspected of lying about the alleged abuse by Brigadier J. Bareskrim Polri and has stopped investigating the case that Putri had reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police.

The Director of General Crimes at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi, said that the reason for the termination of the handling of the case was because the results of the investigation were not found to have occurred.

In fact, there are no witnesses and no evidence to believe that the special team investigator (timsus) has abused the wife of the two-star general.

"Based on the results of the case title, we will stop the investigation of these two cases because no criminal incident was found," Andi told reporters, Friday, August 12.

In fact, based on the results of the Timsus investigation, the report was only seen as an 'obfuscation' of the premeditated murder of Brigadier J.

The report made by Putri Chandrawathi is only an alibi. The goal, to cover the death of Brigadier J because he was killed.

"We consider these two LPs to be part of the obstruction of justice," he said.

"This is part of an effort to prevent the disclosure of case 340 (premeditated murder, ed)," continued Andi.

Putri Chandrawathi had reported to Brigadier J for alleged harassment and attempted murder. The report was registered with LP/B/1630/VII/2022/SPKT/POLRES METRO JAKSEL/PMJ on July 9, 2022.

In fact, the case was transferred to the Polda Metro Jaya. At that time, the status of the case was upgraded from investigation to investigation.
