CENTRAL JAVA - Central Java (Central Java) Governor Ganjar Pranowo appointed Deputy Regent of Pemalang Mansur Hidayat as acting (Plt) of the local Regent on Friday, August 12.

Mansur became Acting Officer to replace Mukti Agung Wibowo who was caught in the Corruption Eradication Commission's (KPK) sting operation on Thursday, August 11.

"I was appointed temporarily. It's just that I don't know how long (to carry out government duties)," he said after a meeting with the Governor of Central Java, in Pemalang, Central Java, quoted from Antara, Friday, August 12 afternoon.

After the Friday prayer, August 12, or around 13.30 WIB, Deputy Regent Mansur gathered all regional organizations (OPD) for a joint apple ceremony.

Regarding the OTT against Pemalang Regent Mukti Agung Wibowo and the alleged involvement of the heads of related agencies, Mansur Hidayat admitted that he did not know exactly.

"There is no official information from the Corruption Eradication Commission. So, we will just have to wait for information from the KPK," he said.

Mansur admitted that he last met Mukti Agung Wibowo on Tuesday 9 August while attending an event. "Meet the event together, there is no communication, just meet ," he added.

Mansur also admitted that he was not aware of Mukti Agung's activities on Thursday 11 August or before and when the KPK reported that there was an OTT.

Meanwhile, based on observations, service activities within the Pemalang Regency Government have been running normally since Friday morning, even the Deputy Regent of Pemalang Mansur Hidayat held a meeting with members of the DPRD, Friday 12 August morning.
