PEKANBARU - As many as 45 Indonesian citizens and 13 foreigners from Bangladesh and Myanmar were detained by law enforcement officers on suspicion of traveling to Malaysia illegally. They were secured around the Dumai-Sei Pakning highway, Riau.

"I have ordered all levels of immigration to tighten security, especially at seaports, airports, cross-border posts and other places that are entry and exit routes for Indonesian territory," said Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Riau, Mhd. The illegal foreigner, with the modus operandi, departed from Bangladesh and Myanmar by plane to Malaysia, but was refused and then headed to Jakarta, then from Jakarta took a bus to Dumai City, when he arrived in Dumai, he was then coordinated to illegally return to Malaysia by speedboat. .

Until now, the PMI and the illegal immigrants were detained at the Dumai Police Headquarters for further investigation.
