JAKARTA - The special team (timsus) of the National Police has completed searching the houses of the former Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, following the determination as a suspect in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J. From the search, investigators confiscated a number of items indicated in the case.

"Last night, the search was completed," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo when confirmed, Wednesday, August 10.

However, Dedi did not specify the items confiscated from Ferdy Sambo's three houses, including the amount. He only stated that all the evidence would be sorted first.

"Regarding the confiscated items, it's technical fingerprinting and will be sorted according to the cases that were confiscated," said Dedi.

Timsus searched three of Ferdy Sambo's houses on Tuesday, August 9. The three houses are located on Jalan Saguling III, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, the official residence in Duren Tiga Number 58, and the house on Jalan Bangka, South Jakarta.

Inspector General Ferdy Sambo is one of four suspects in the premeditated murder of Brigadier J. While the other three, namely, Bharada E, Bripka RR, and KM alias Kuwat Maruf.

All of them except Bharada E were charged with Article 340 subsidiary 388 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Articles 55 and 56 of the Criminal Code.

In addition, there were 31 Polri personnel who were declared to have violated the code of ethics in handling the case of Brigadier J's murder. In fact, 11 of them, officers ranging from generals to the AKP, were placed in special rooms.
