JAKARTA - The decision of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan regarding the naming of a regional general hospital (RSUD) into a healthy home for Jakarta is still a matter of debate. There are those who support, there are also those who criticize.

Seeing this condition, Commission E of the DKI Jakarta DPRD will summon the ranks of the Health Service in a work meeting. The People's Welfare Commission will ask for further explanation regarding the naming of healthy homes.

"We haven't studied it in detail because we from Commission E plan to hold a work meeting later with the Health Office to ask further questions regarding this (naming healthy homes)," said Jakarta DPRD Commission E member Ali Muhammad Johan to reporters, Tuesday, August 9. .

However, Ali admitted that he did not know for sure when the summoning day for Anies' subordinates. This is because there has been no confirmation from the leadership of Commission E regarding the schedule for the work meeting.

So far, Ali has caught that the name healthy house was set by Anies on the basis of public health promotive and preventive efforts. However, considering the existing controversy, a working meeting with the DKI Health Office, according to Ali, still needs to be held.

"In the future, this will be a further discussion between Commission E and the Health Office to be able to answer the things that are questioned by the community. Is this really what I said, just a paradigm shift and others," he explained.

For information, the healthy house for Jakarta is a manifestation of the health services of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government as many as 31 hospitals. Anies also explained why he made the policy.

Anies said that the change of the name of the hospital to a healthy house at a health service facility owned by the regional government was carried out to change the mindset of the community so that they not only visited when they were sick, but also in order to maintain and improve the quality of their health.

This was conveyed by Anies at the launch of the naming of a healthy house for Jakarta at Cengkareng Hospital, West Jakarta, Wednesday, August 3.

“So far, our hospitals are curative and rehabilitative, so people come because they are sick and want to get well. Come to the hospital to get well, but to get well you have to be sick first. Well, on the other hand, in yesterday's pandemic, we witnessed the importance of maintaining health. Therefore, the role of the Healthy House is added, namely the promotive and preventive aspects," said Anies.

Anies' decision has drawn criticism from a number of members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, particularly the PDIP and PSI factions. However, the Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, did not have a problem with the naming.

Because, based on Anies' previous communication to him, it was stated that the name change to a healthy house was only limited to logos or branding.

"It must be distinguished what the legal name is, and the branding name. So, the update that (Anies) conveyed to us legally remains a hospital, but the branding of the logo uses the definition of a healthy home. For us, the important thing is what legal certificate to use," he explained. Budi.
