JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the COVID-19 Task Force, Prof. Wiku Adisasmito, said the weekly positive cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia had increased by 15 times in the last two months.

He said the increase in positive cases was accompanied by an increase in death cases, although not significantly compared to the increase in positive cases.
In the last week there were 91 cases of death, a sharp increase compared to the previous week which was around 40 deaths. Even in recent days, the death toll touched more than 20 deaths in a day.
