Whack! This Passenger Punches Taxi Driver In The Face For Refusing To Pay Fares

JAKARTA - A hard punch was thrown at the taxi driver's face. Not only that but the driver's back was also hit by a taxi passenger.

The sad thing is, the taxi driver can be considered elderly because he is 63 years old.

This incident occurred in Aichi Prefecture, Japan as quoted from Japan Today, Monday, August 1.

A male passenger in his 30s -- his name has not been released by Japanese police -- took a taxi outside Nagoya Station at 1:30 am Japanese time, Sunday, July 31.

This passenger requested to be driven to the city of Anjo, also in Aichi Prefecture.

According to police, the incident occurred around 4 am Sunday, as reported by Tokai TV.

On the way, the drunken passenger changed his mind. This time he asked to be escorted to Takahama.

When they arrived, the driver asked for a fare of 14,860 yen. It was 04.00 local time.

However, the man instead refused to pay and got out of the taxi. When the driver also got out, the man punched him in the face and back, kicked him in the ass, and then fled.

The driver called 110 and police found the man walking unsteadily about 500 meters away.

Police in Takahama, Aichi Prefecture, finally caught the culprit.
