A number of athletes who were positive for COVID-10, he said, did not experience symptoms so they had to undergo quarantine at the Health Training Center, Semarang City.
"There are approximately 10 or so. However, they are asymptomatic," said Hakam.
Hakam did not reveal the athletes who were exposed to COVID-19 by only mentioning that they were from various countries.
In accordance with the health protocol, athletes who compete must be negative for COVID-19, so athletes who are positive must undergo quarantine before they can return to compete.
"If it's positive, it can't compete because it violates the rules. Until you wait five days, it's negative, after that he can do activities again," said Hakam.
Hakam said the Semarang City Health Office also continues to monitor the health of the athletes by deploying the team to the para-swimming arena located in Atlas City.
