SURABAYA - Surabaya Police are still investigating the case of dog slaughter on Jalan Pesapen, Sumur Welut, Lakarsantri, Surabaya.
The investigation was carried out after police and the Community Animals Hope Shelter (AHS) raided a dog slaughterhouse on Sunday, July 31.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Surabaya Police, AKBP Mirzal Maulana, said that his party is currently examining the two managers of the dog meat slaughterhouse.
"From the community reports, we have jointly checked the location with the animal lover community. The findings were followed up with an in-depth examination of the owner and related parties," said Mirzal, confirmed, Monday, August 1.

During the raid, continued Joshua, the Surabaya Polrestabes found four dogs tied up in sacks.
"There are four who are still alive, they are locked in sacks, their feet are tied, their mouths are tied, they are also injured from being beaten," he said.
In addition to the four dogs that were found alive, Joshua also found six other sacks that were thought to have been used as a place for dogs that had been slaughtered.
Now the four living dogs have been evacuated to a safe place, for treatment. Their condition, said Joshua, was stressful.
"They are traumatized, some are injured, they are forced into sacks, their leg bones have problems. We have evacuated them at our place," he said.
