Becoming The First Party To Register For The 2024 Election, PDIP Believes The Requirements Are Complete

JAKARTA - The PDI-P (PDIP), which is the first party to register for the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) believes that it has completed the requirements. They are committed to participating in all stages of political contestation to the fullest.

This was conveyed by the Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto after registering his party as participants in the 2024 General Election today, Monday, August 1 at the KPU Central Office, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Central Jakarta.

"In accordance with the commitment from the PDI-P, we will follow all stages of the election carefully, carefully, by supporting the election organizers, KPU, Bawaslu in an effort to improve the quality of the upcoming 2024 elections," Hasto told reporters.

Similarly, the Deputy Secretary General of the PDIP who is also the Head of the PDIP National Election Witness Body (BSPN) Arif Wibowo said that all administrative requirements had been fulfilled by his party.

Among those that have been fulfilled are related to party management, women's representation, party offices, and party membership. "We have completed everything," said Arif at the same location.

Arif said that all submitted files would then be verified by the KPU. He hopes that in December, PDIP can be announced as a participant in the 2024 General Election.

"We are also happy because we have fulfilled all the necessary administrative requirements and of course this shows that we PDI-P have fulfilled all the requirements needed in the registration, verification, and determination of political parties participating in the 2024 election," said Arif.

"So once again, we have fulfilled all the administrative requirements needed in registering political parties to become political parties participating in the 2024 election," he continued.

As previously reported, PDIP held a long march from its office on Jalan Diponegoro, Menteng, Central Jakarta to the KPU. Present at this activity, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto and other PDIP DPP administrators.

The number of cadres registered by PDIP to the KPU reached 477,777. The chairman of the DPP PDIP Bambang Wuryanto or Bambang Pacul said there was a special philosophy of this figure.

"These four are descriptions of the seats that we won for electoral power, 77 of them are the birthdays of our republic. Then the third seven are because we are Javanese," he said.

"The third seven, because some of us are Javanese, that is hoping to receive pitu, pitulungan. Good speech is to make the election better and we hope that it will certainly calm the hat trick as ordered by the general chairman," continued Bambang.
