Officers Clean Up Mud Spilled On Asphalt Spilled From Soil Transport Trucks In Manggarai

JAKARTA - A truck loaded with mud that crossed Jalan Sultan Agung, Manggarai Region, Tebet District, South Jakarta, spilled on Friday, July 29, evening. South Jakarta Gulkarmat officers immediately cleaned up the mud that was attached to the asphalt, which did not endanger the driver.

"We were given information that this truck had experienced a small leak earlier," said the Commander of the Rasuna Setiabudi Post Fire Team, Zafaruddin, to reporters on Saturday, July 30.

Zafaruddin said that his party received information that there was a mud spill on the road at around 21:20 WIB.

Initially, the truck departed from the project site, which is behind Pasaraya Manggarai.

However, a small leak occurred around the corner near the Manggarai Busway Stop. Until finally the mud spilled in front of the bus stop.

"So it's been transported on the road a little bit has spilled. It broke right around the corner here," he said.

Receiving a report of a mud spill, his party immediately came to the location.

"There are 2 units, from Setiabudi and Tebet. There are 13 personnel from the two units," he said.

The spilled mud devoured part of the road so that traffic flow to Menteng, Central Jakarta, stagnated.

"After the mud is removed from the project, we will clean up the remnants of the mud," he said.
