As part of the government, he said, the DPRD has always supported the local government's efforts, starting from the search for victims on Thursday night, July 28, until the recovery efforts later.

Until Friday morning, the residents of Torue Village were evacuated to a safe place, because their houses were still submerged in mud and wood materials.

"We ask the residents of Parigi Moutong to give a helping hand to our brothers and sisters affected by the disaster, the current situation of flood victims is in dire need of logistics, ready-to-eat food and baby equipment," said Sayutin.
