Collapsed Building In Johar Baru That Kills A Woman Suspected Of Being The Impact Of The DKI Provincial Government Waterworks Project

JAKARTA - The collapse or collapse of the construction of a 2-story building used as a food stall and post in Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, is thought to be due to the building's inability to withstand the load.

Meanwhile, according to the statement from the Head of RW 06, Syafrudin, the collapse of the building construction is thought to have been caused by the impact of the water channel excavation project which is right in front of the building.

"Incidentally, there is a project to excavate a sewer justification from the Provincial Government of the Housing Service. Make a widening of the repair of the channel to replace a new one," explained Syafrudin.

He suspected that the collapse of the building was due to the excavation of the channel construction project.

"If that factor is possible, yes, it's definitely. It's just that the construction of this house is not good," he said.

Syafrudin explained that the collapsed building had 2 and a half floors. He also mentioned that the collapsed building was on the road hook.

"Automatically half of the excavation, because this is the border with the foundation. This is a two-and-a-half-story house," he said.

Meanwhile, the evacuation process encountered problems due to faulty power cables and narrow road locations.
