JAKARTA - The Tasikmalaya Regional Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAID) continues to oversee cases of bullying or bullying that led to forcing to have sex with a cat whose victim's initials F ended up dead.

The head of KPAID Tasikmalaya Ato Rinanto said KPAID Tasikmalaya was keen to continue to explore other facts, such as the alleged involvement of adults which could later become the attention of all parties.

"In this case, we continue to carry out escorts to serve as a warning that this bullying issue is serious, we must pay attention to it, we are worried that adults will be involved," he said in Tasikmalaya, West Java, quoted from Antara, Monday, July 25.

He said the Tasikmalaya KPAID had reported the case to the police to get special attention regarding the alleged bullying of an 11-year-old child who was depressed and eventually died.

The child, he said, was depressed because he was suspected of being a victim of bullying by his friends, one of whom was told to do something unnatural to the cat and his actions were recorded using a cell phone.

According to him, these actions must certainly be investigated because there could be other indicators including the involvement of adults so that children commit such acts.

"We don't just focus on the incident, I believe there are other indicators of the child's reason for doing it, meaning that there was an event before," said Ato.

He conveyed that Tasikmalaya KPAID in this case did not only pay attention to victims, but also to children who were suspected of being bullies so that they would still receive special rights and attention.

"We think, both victims and perpetrators, are essentially victims, victims of weak parenting, environmental supervision," he said.

He conveyed that the emergence of the case should not let the alleged perpetrator also become a victim of bullying, for that reason he did not first think about sanctions but how to find the best solution and currently the case is still being handled by the police.

"The legal process is being carried out by the police, the end result is the best for the children," said Ato.*
