JAKARTA - The National Police has not determined a definite time for the re-autopsy of the body of Joshua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J. However, it is hoped that the process will take place in the near future.

"Communication from Pidum with the lawyers should be as soon as possible," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Friday, July 22.

According to him, the autopsy process must be carried out as soon as possible to avoid the risk of decaying the body. This is because the decomposition of bodies can make finding facts about premeditated murder even more difficult.

"The faster the exhumation process, the better because for example, if the body is old, the decay rate will be more damaged," he said.

"The more damaged it is, the more difficult it will be for a repeat autopsy or exhumation," continued Dedi.

Apart from that, Inspector General Dedi ensured that the autopsy process would be transparent. Because, it will involve experts so that the results can be accounted for.

"In principle, in accordance with the commitment of the National Police Chief, we involve external parties, of course, who are experts in their fields," said Dedi.
