JAKARTA - Former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Roy Suryo has been named a suspect in the Borobudur Temple stupa meme case that resembles President Joko Wodo (Jokowi). This determination after going through a series of inspection processes repeatedly.

"Yes, it is true that the suspect (Roy Suryo's status, ed)," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan when contacted, Friday, July 22.

However, regarding the detention of Roy Suryo, Zulpan could not comment much. This is because investigators have the authority to do so.

"To be detained or not, we will update later, now it is still undergoing examination," he said.

So far, the telematics expert is said to be undergoing an examination. Thus, the detention will be determined after the process.

"Currently, the person concerned is still undergoing examination with the status of a suspect," said Zulpan.
