Husband Of OTK Shooting Victim In Semarang Absent From Work At His Unit

SEMARANG - Kopda M, husband of R, a woman who was shot by an unknown person or OTK in Semarang City, is known to have been absent from her unit in Battalion Arhanud 15 after the incident.

"Reports from the Battalion Commander Arhanud 15, Kopda M was declared absent without permission," said Kapendam IV/Diponegoro Colonel Bambang Hermanto in a press release, Friday, July 22.

According to him, Kopda M's actions were categorized as military violations. These violations have now been transferred to military police investigators.

As for victim R, he said, he is currently assisting the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK).

"In strict guarding the joint personnel of the TNI/Polri and the LPSK," he said, according to Antara.

Previously, a woman with the initials R (34), the wife of a TNI member, was shot by an unknown person in front of her house, Jalan Cemara III, Banyumanik, Semarang City, Monday, July 18.

Semarang Police Chief Kombes Pol. Irwan Anwar said that the victim suffered a wound in the abdomen as a result of the gunshot.

"Two shots, one lodged in the victim's stomach," he added.

The police themselves have revealed the characteristics and roles of the four perpetrators of the shooting of R.

Irwan said the four perpetrators used two motorcycles, each a Kawasaki Ninja and a Honda Beat Street without a license plate.

The characteristics of the four perpetrators recorded on CCTV cameras around the scene are known to each of the perpetrators who act as executor of the shooting using a helmet that is usually used for motocross, wearing black and red citizen shoes, and using a firearm similar to a gun.

The two other perpetrators who rode the Honda Beat served as supervisors during the execution of the shooting.

"One of the perpetrators is known to have long hair," he said.

From CCTV footage, he said, the perpetrators, who are suspected to be civilians, always communicate with someone by telephone before taking action.
