JAKARTA – Hundreds of residents of Jalan Asem Gede, Matraman, East Jakarta gathered in front of SMA 22, Kayu Selatan, East Jakarta, Wednesday, July 20, evening. The crowd was caused by a commotion between groups. The problem is trivial, only because of the motorcycle helmet.

The two groups got into a fist fight on the street, causing traffic jams on the road.

"It started at the angkringan in front of SMA 22. Two teenage boys named Reva and Adit went to the parking lot to talk to Danil. Then Danil returned to his merchandise," said Iptu Sutrisno to reporters, Thursday, July 21.

Next, Reva saw Dimas putting down his helmet that fell while parking on Eko's Beat motorbike (Reva's friend). Then Adit wore Dimas' helmet on his motorbike.

Then Dimas Andika and two other people came, seeing their helmets being worn and hitting Eko and Reva.

"We secured the perpetrators of the beatings along with evidence, they were taken to the Matraman Police. However, at the request of the victim, they did not make a report, and the problem was resolved amicably by making a statement with the alleged perpetrator," he said.

Kanit explained that the alleged perpetrator and victim knew each other.

"They went to the same school when they were in junior high school, so the victim stated that it was a family affair and did not make a police report," he said.
