Abandoned Boy With Bruises And Broken Legs In Denpasar Apparently Tortured By The Victim's Mother's Girlfriend

DENPASAR - The South Denpasar Police, Bali, arrested the perpetrator who molested a child with the initials NY (4) who was found abandoned with bruises and broken leg bones.

The perpetrator of this child abuse is Yohanes Paulus Maniek Putra alias JO (39) from Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The perpetrator is the girlfriend of the victim's mother, Dwi Novita Murti alias Novi. The perpetrator abused this girl out of anger.

"As a result of the incident, the victim was found weak and helpless on the road with abrasions, bruising on his hip causing pain, and a broken right thigh," said South Denpasar Police Chief Commissioner I Made Teja Dwi Permana, Wednesday, July 20.

The suspect was arrested after the police conducted an investigation. Until finally it was found out that the perpetrator of the abuse of the child until it was full of bruises was the girlfriend of the victim's mother.

"Furthermore, the perpetrators and the evidence were secured to the South Denpasar Police Headquarters," he added.

The perpetrator during interrogation admitted his actions. The perpetrator was upset because the children of his lover did not want to sleep.

"The perpetrator has abused the victim almost 6 times by grabbing her hair, hitting her with a comb, slapping her face, kicking the victim's hip," said Police Commissioner Teja Dwi.

"The perpetrator forced the victim to bend the right leg folded behind the head which resulted in the victim breaking his right thigh and drowning the victim in a large bucket," he said.
