Not Wearing Mask, Central Jakarta Satpol PP Arrest Bonge In 'SCBD'

JAKARTA - Bonge, Sudirman Citayam Bojong Depok (SCBD) slang boy, did not move when he was caught by the Central Jakarta Satpol PP not wearing a mask on Jalan Tanjung Karang, Dukuh Atas area, Tanah Abang sub-district, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 19, evening.

The teenager was caught smoking a cigarette casually.

"I smoke, Uncle," said Bonge to the Satpol PP officers who were carrying out activities to control masks, Tuesday, July 19, evening.

Then the Satpol PP officer gave an appeal to Bonge not to smoke indiscriminately.

"Don't smoke carelessly, you can't be Bonge. Set a good example, we are still a pandemic," said one member of the Satpol PP.

Luckily, Bonge was not sanctioned by Satpol PP officers, even though he was not wearing a mask. The officer gave him a mask to wear.

Next, the 'SCBD' teenager left while smoking a cigarette back towards the Kendal tunnel, Sudirman Station, leaving the officers behind.

Head of Central Jakarta Satpol PP, Tumbur Parluhutan Purba, said the activities carried out by his staff were to encourage visitors to the Dukuh Atas area to apply masks and maintain cleanliness.

"We urge visitors, if they do gather, please help, now the number of COVID-19 is increasing. Our leaders above have also paid attention to wearing masks. Don't throw garbage anywhere, because this is a public space for the common good," he said.
