KENDARI - The joint SAR team is again searching for the missing fisherman named Salam (35) in the waters of Kasilampe, Kendari Bay. Salam was reported missing after the boat he was using sank on Sunday 17 July.
The head of Kendari Basarnas Aris Sofingi said the operation to search for victims on the third day was carried out by dividing three joint SAR teams.

Team 1 conducted a search to the east or the estuary of Kendari Bay to the west of the location where the victim was reported missing as far as 0.5 nautical miles.

In the search for victims, the Kendari Search and Rescue Office (KPP) rescue team or Kendari Basarnas were assisted by elements from Polairud, UHO SAR, PT. Eternal Desire, and the families of the victims.
