Komnas HAM Collects Various Information From Brigadier J's Family, One Of Them Is Photos And Videos That Are Considered Odd

JAKARTA - The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) has begun to intervene in investigating the case of the death of Brigadier J alias Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat at the shelter for the Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. One of the things that Komnas HAM did was to ask for information from the family of Brigadi J who was in Jambi.

From this step, Komnas Ham obtained photos and videos that the family considered odd. "We were given a lot of information, a lot of photos, we were also given a lot of videos. And the most important thing in the statement of Brigadier J's family is that we were also given context," Komnas HAM Commissioner Choirul Anam told reporters, Sunday, July 17.

In the examination process, Anam meant a more in-depth explanation of photos and videos. It's just, reluctant to explain in detail about this. Just to emphasize, the photos and videos received by Komnas HAM are far more than those that have been circulating in the community

So, Komnas HAM's next step will be to explore the videos and photos provided by Brigadier J's family. "And the most important thing in that context is the context. So how the photo was taken, what context and explanation from the family is important," said Anam.

Then, Anam also mentioned that in a meeting with Brigadier J's family, his party had questioned the alleged hacking of cellphones and the arrival of large numbers of Police personnel to his house.

"Including the issue of cellphones, what is the name, there is a hacking problem, when did the hacking occur, what kind of character, what kind of pattern we got," he said.

While specifically for the arrival of large numbers of Police personnel to Brigadier J's house, Anam said that his party had pocketed various detailed information.

However, at this time the information cannot be disclosed to the public. This is because the research process is still ongoing.

"Otherwise, we also got about the police coming in large numbers. We were also given information about the background of the incident, what context, when, what momentum and who came there. We were informed by all of the family," said Anam.

Brigadier J alias Nopryansah Yosua Hutabara was killed when he was involved in a shootout by Bharada E, on Friday, July 8. The shooting was said to have taken place at the shelter house of the Head of the Propam Police, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, in the Duren Tiga area, South Jakarta.
