Ganjar Gives Strong Warning After Inaugurating 126 School Principals: Corruption, I'll Take Off!

JAKARTA - The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo inaugurated the Principal of the State High School (SMAN), State Vocational High School (SMKN), and State Extraordinary School (SLBN) in Central Java.

Ganjar has also warned 126 school principals in the Central Java Provincial Government to stay away from acts of corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN).

"I also said that the integrity pact must be implemented. So I said that if the integrity pact was violated, I removed it and they agreed", said Ganjar Pranowo in a written statement, Thursday, July 14.

Ganjar also entrusted the school to the newly appointed principal. Character education is one of the most important things for children's development.

"So that the children are not burdened with fears. Bullied by their friends, maybe their teacher, a threat beyond that. Whether it's drugs, pornography, or radicalism, be careful. Because children must be prepared. Therefore, the school principal should oversee it", he said.

His party invites school principals to oversee the education world in Central Java so that they can be creative, innovative, and active toward change.

“Children are adaptive to change. Children can follow that path. Children can have a much better future", he concluded.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Central Java Regional Personnel Agency, Wisnu Zaroh, said that the integrity pact agreed upon by the school principal contained, among other things, that no party would engage in KKN.

"Contains Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, does not carry out KKN. Even ensure that KKN does not exist at all. Does not violate norms, ethics, social, religions, and so on. The point is that the integrity pact is like that", explained Vishnu.
