Komnas HAM Will Check Head Of Propam Division Inspector General Ferdy Sambo Regarding Police Shooting Police Who Killed Brigadier J

JAKARTA - The Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) has stated that it will examine all parties involved in the death of Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J. The investigation includes the Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

"Including everyone, we will investigate everything that we think is important that can make this incident clear, we will investigate it," Komnas HAM Commissioner Mohammad Choirul Anam told reporters, Wednesday, July 13.

The examination conducted by Komnas HAM aims to obtain the actual flow of events. So, later it can be determined whether there is a human rights violation behind the case.

Anam continued, Komnas HAM will study the available data regarding Brigadier J's scars and so on. The data is temporarily obtained from the existing news.

This is because Komnas HAM has not yet received a copy of the preliminary autopsy results from the National Police.

"We are still in the early process of learning everything, plus the basic characters about how the wound is, the use of the weapon, we have consolidated everything," said Anam.

Komnas HAM is one of the external parties from the special team formed by the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. In addition, there is also Kompolnas.

This special team was formed to uncover the real facts. Because this case is colored by a lot of wild information.

This special team consists of internal members of the National Police, which is led directly by the Deputy Chief of the National Police, Komjen Gatot Eddy Pramono.

"This joint team is a professional team. Led directly by the Deputy Chief of Police and Irwasum, and followed by friends from Kompolnas and Komnas HAM. So I think they are credible to handle this problem," said Sigit.
