BANDUNG - Prosecutors from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in their indictment explained that there were a number of potential findings from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) that caused the inactive Bogor Regent, Ade Yasin, to bribe the auditor from the BPK.

KPK prosecutor Budiman Abdul Karib said the potential finding was when the BPK auditor directly examined the Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) for the 2021 Fiscal Year of the Bogor Regency Government in several regional work units (SKPD).

"Among other things, there is a lack of work volume for capital expenditures (procurement of roads or buildings), namely 24 road procurement sampling contracts, there are 14 potential findings," Budiman said at the Bandung Corruption Court, West Java, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 13.

According to the prosecutor, there were also findings on the work of consulting services, namely out of 11 sampling contracts, nine had the potential to be findings.

In addition, the prosecutor explained that another BPK finding was that there were weaknesses in the management of budgeting and spending. Because there were findings by BPK in the form of double SP2D due to the application of the Regional Management Information System (SIPD) from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

"It has not been able to facilitate from budgeting to reporting and making SPM to SP2D, entities are still using manual processes," said the prosecutor.

From a number of potential findings, the prosecutor explained that BPK auditor Gerri Ginanjar assessed that the LKPD for the 2021 Fiscal Year of the Bogor Regency Government was very bad and had the potential to be a disclaimer or did not receive an unqualified opinion (WTP) from the BPK.

Furthermore, officials from the Bogor Regency BPKAD Ihsan Ayatullah reported this to Ade Yasin.

Still according to the prosecutor, Ade Yasin directed Ihsan that the Bogor Regency Government should continue to get the WTP opinion like the previous year.

"The opinion of the WTP is one of the requirements that must be met by the Bogor Regency Government to obtain regional incentive funds (DID) from the APBN," said the prosecutor.

Prosecutors allege that Ade Yasin along with Ihsan and two other officials had jointly bribed a BPK employee or auditor in the amount of Rp1.9 billion to obtain the WTP opinion.
