NTT Police Make Sure ACT Cup Operations Are In Accordance With The Social Ministry Rules

NTT - The permit to collect money and goods from the Rapid Response Action Foundation (ACT) has been revoked by the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos). The East Nusa Tenggara Police (NTT Police) has ensured that until now there has been no ACT activity in their area.

"So far, there have been no reports from residents in NTT regarding this ACT," said Head of Public Relations of the NTT Police Kombes Pol Ariasandy in Kupang, NTT, quoted from Antara, Friday, July 8.

This was conveyed by him related to the alleged case of community fund management for humanity which was allegedly misappropriated by the institution.

The former South Central Timor Police Chief (TTS) said his members would follow up if there were reports from residents in NTT regarding the existence of the ACT foundation.

"Please if there are residents who find it in their area to inform us," he said.

Previously, the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes (Ditipideksus) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police investigated the case of the management of public funds for humanity carried out by the ACT philanthropic agency suspected of misappropriation.

Director of Special Economic Crimes at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Brigadier General Pol Whisnu Hermawan said the basis for the investigation into the results of the intelligence analysis of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK), community reports, and findings of the National Police in the field.

"Reports from the public and the findings of the Police in the field are the basis for investigators to investigate the alleged ACT case," he said.

ACT became the talk of the town after Tempo Magazine's investigative report contained allegations of misappropriation of donations of people being misappropriated, including operational costs and high-value high-ranking salaries.

After the investment report, it appeared on social media the hashtag reads "fast action tip" and "don't believe ACT".

The Ministry of Social Affairs then revoked the permit for the Implementation of Money and Goods Collection (PUB) which had been given to the ACT Foundation in 2022.

The revocation was stated in the Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 133/HUK/2022 dated July 5, 2022 regarding the Revocation of the Contribution Collection Permit to the Rapid Response Action Foundation in South Jakarta which was signed by the Minister of Social Affairs Ad Interim Muhadjir Effendy.
