JAKARTA - The license to collect money and goods from the Rapid Response Action Foundation (ACT) has been revoked by the Ministry of Social Affairs. The philanthropic institution is allegedly entangled in the misappropriation of humanitarian donations made by the manager.

The series of problems is not over yet. PPTK found that there was a flow of ACT funds into and abroad. Based on the findings of PPATK, ACT will be investigated by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police in the near future.

Social media activist Eko Kuntadhi suggested that ACT be disbanded. He asked law enforcement officials to act immediately to confiscate the assets of the foundation, including its top brass who come from organizational funds.

"My advice is to confiscate all assets of ACT officials who were purchased from donation money. Get all the organizational assets," said Eko on his Twitter account, @_ekontantatdhi, Thursday, July 7.

According to him, the confiscated assets can be used again for employees if the ACT Foundation is disbanded. So that after ACT is not used, employees do not face the problem of paying the remaining severance pay.

"Make it up for severance pay for all ACT employees. So that employees can find other jobs in companies that are reasonable," said Eko.

Finally, Eko suggested that law enforcement officers oversee the business unit of the founder of ACT as well as the Chairman of the ACT Board of Trustees, Ahyudin.

"Be aware of GMC, which Ahyudin built with a similar mode," he said.

The Ministry of Social Affairs revoked the permit to collect money and goods issued in 2022 to the ACT Foundation. The revocation was carried out due to alleged violations of regulations by the ACT.

The revocation of the permit is stated in the Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 133/HUK/2022 dated July 5, 2022 regarding the Revocation of the Contribution Collection Permit to the Quick Response Action Foundation.

The decision was signed by the Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Ad Interim Muhadjir Effendi on Tuesday, July 5.

Muhadjir, who is also the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, is known to replace Social Minister Tri Rismaharini for the time being who is currently carrying out the pilgrimage.

"So the reason we withdrew it with consideration is because there are indications of violations of the Minister of Social Regulation until later waiting for the results of the examination from the Inspectorate General, there will be further sanctions provisions," said Muhadjir in a written statement, Wednesday, July 6.
