BADUNG - A German Caucasian woman with the initials DJ who wanders in Bali, it is known that her stay permit has expired (overstayed).

Head of Information Section of the Class I Immigration Office (TPI) Ngurah Rai, I Putu Suhendra said, from the inspection of officers in the field of Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement, the residence permit for German Caucasians expired on April 16.

"However, officers have difficulty digging deeper information, because the foreigner was not cooperative in the examination and the information given was unclear and convoluted," said Suhendra in a written statement, Thursday, July 7.

This foreigner is subject to Article 78 Paragraph (3) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration which regulates that foreigners holding a residence permit whose validity period has expired and are still in the territory of Indonesia for more than 60 days from the time limit of the residence permit are subject to immigration administrative action. in the form of deportation and detention.

"Because the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office does not have adequate medical examination facilities and facilities on humanitarian grounds, the foreigner was transferred to the Denpasar Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim) to receive a follow-up examination from a doctor while waiting for the deportation process," he said.

As previously reported, the Badung, Bali Satpol PP handed over a German woman to the Bali Immigration office because she was found homeless.

The foreigner with the initials DJ (52) was secured by officers in the Petitenget area, North Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali.

"We have submitted it to immigration for further handling," said Head of the Badung Satpol PP, I Gusti Agung Ketut Suryanegara, Tuesday, July 5.
