PSI Asks DKI Provincial Government To Open Data On Aid Distribution Cooperation With ACT

JAKARTA - Members of the PSI faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD asked the DKI Provincial Government to disclose data on the use of APBD in the cooperation program for distributing aid with the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) agency.

Idris asked that the investigation into the alleged misappropriation of donations by ACT officials was a momentum for DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to disclose the data.

"In principle, just open it to the public, let the public judge because actually the APBD funds and donation funds are a mandate that must be accounted for," Idris said when contacted, Wednesday, July 6.

After data transparency is carried out, continued Idris, the DKI Provincial Government can evaluate the collaboration with ACT.

Then, if the police investigation proves that ACT has misused public funds for personal gain, Idris asks the DKI Provincial Government to blacklist the donation collecting agency.

"If it's true, there's no need to be angry, don't let unscrupulous elements damage the pattern of collaboration with third parties. And if it's true that the operational costs are very large and even unreasonable, make a note, if necessary, put them on the black list of cooperation," said Idris.

"I'm sure there are still many humanitarian institutions that have governance that prioritizes beneficiaries compared to the internal interests of the institution," he continued.

As is known, the humanitarian agency ACT is suspected of misusing the budget for the personal interests of its leaders. This was revealed from the latest edition of Tempo Magazine's investigative report.

While serving as President of ACT, Ahyudin allegedly earned a salary of Rp. 250 million every month. While positions below him such as senior vice president are paid Rp200 million per month, vice president Rp80 million, and executive director Rp50 million. Based on a report from Tempo magazine, Ahyudin while serving as President of ACT was facilitated by three luxury vehicles such as the Toyota Alphard, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, and Honda. CRV. It was also found that ACT funds were used for Ahyudin's personal interests for household purposes.

The DKI Provincial Government is known to often collaborate in distributing social assistance with ACT, such as distributing social assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Large-Scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) program to distributing sacrificial animals.

However, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria claimed that the cooperation between the DKI Provincial Government and ACT so far has not caused any problems, especially in the transparency of aid distribution.

"So far we have worked together and so far there have been no problems, everything is fine with ACT. However, recently we received information that there are leaders who are considered problematic, of course we will look into the future. Hopefully the implementation will not be as problematic as last year. before," he explained.
