PPATK Ends Misuse Of ACT Donation Funds

JAKARTA - The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) intervened to investigate the alleged misappropriation of donation funds by Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT). PPATK detects allegations of misuse of cash flows.

"The transaction (ACT, ed) indicates that," said PPATK Head Ivan Yustiavandana to reporters, Monday, July 4.

He said indications of this abuse had been detected since the investigation was carried out. Ivan said the results of the PPATK's work have also been handed over to law enforcement officials, including the Special Detachment (Densus) 88 Anti-terror and the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT).

"We have been in the process for a long time and we have the results of the analysis that we convey to law enforcement officers," he said.

Even so, this investigation is not over. The investigation process is still ongoing and the results will soon be submitted to the law enforcement authorities.

Based on a report from Tempo magazine, the founder of Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT), Ahyudin was rumored to have misappropriated public funds for his personal life. ACT is a philanthropic organization that distributes donations from the people.

While serving as President of ACT, Ahyudin allegedly earned a salary of Rp. 250 million per month. Meanwhile, for positions below him, such as senior vice president, the salary is Rp. 200 million per month, vice president is Rp. 80 million, and executive director is Rp. 50 million.

Ahyudin while serving as President of ACT was facilitated by three luxury vehicles such as the Toyota Alphard, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, and Honda CRV. It was also found that ACT funds were used for Ahyudin's personal interests for household purposes.

Against this abuse, the Police also immediately intervened. Currently the investigation process is carried out.

"Information from the Criminal Investigation Unit is still in the process of being investigated," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo when contacted, Monday, July 4.

Then, in investigating the allegations, the investigative team is still looking for information and clues. Thus, the facts behind the alleged misappropriation of funds will be found later.

Apart from the investigation process, Dedi said that until now, Bareskrim has not received any reports.

"Still investigating pulbaket (investigation, gathering information, ed) first," he said.
