Central Java - The government of Kudus Regency is expanding its investment area as an effort to attract investors to invest. This is stated in the Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) of Kudus.

"The area of land for investment in this area in accordance with the latest RTRW Perda reaches 2,300 hectares or wider than the RTRW Perda before the change," said Head of the Kudus Regency Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Arif Budi Siswanto in Kudus, Central Java, Friday 1 July.

He revealed that the previously available land for investment was 1,132 hectares spread across several sub-districts, including established companies in Gondoharum Village, Jekulo District and Mijen Village, Kaliwungu District to the border of Jepara Regency.

With an investment area of 2,300 hectares, he said, it is spread across Jekulo and Kaliwungu sub-districts.

For the Jekulo area, it starts from Terban Village which is on the east coast road to the border with Pati Regency, while in Kaliwungu it starts from Mijen South Ring Road to the border with Jepara Regency.

He said that the area of Kudus Regency was in accordance with the latest digital measurement results using ArcGIS software, from previously around 42,516 hectares, it changed to 44,474 hectares.

Of the land area, for agricultural land area of about 20,0005 hectares.

The implementation of the latest RTRW Regional Regulation, said Arif, is still waiting for the Kudus Regent's regulation which is currently being drafted by the Kudus Regency Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP).
