43 Kg Of Crystal Methamphetamine And 494 Pills Of Ecstasy Seized, Banten Police Arrest International Trafficker Syndicate

BANTEN - The Banten Regional Police (Polda) have arrested six suspects in a cross-provincial and state-wide drug trafficking syndicate. From the arrests, 43 kilograms of methamphetamine and 494 pills of ecstasy were secured.

Banten Police Public Relations Head Kombes Pol Shinto Silitonga said the arrest of this large drug syndicate was the result of the development of the Tangerang Police Narcotics Investigation Unit on Monday, June 13.

"Starting from the arrest of suspects DS (27) and DM in Sukamulya, Cikupa District, Tangerang Regency, at around 04.45 WIB, 17.65 grams of methamphetamine was found," he said in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Friday, July 1

He explained that from the results of the arrests of the two suspects, the investigation team immediately carried out an investigation into the largest supplier in the Pasar Kemis area, Tangerang.

"And succeeded in disclosing the largest shabu dealer MI suspect in Pasar Kemis by confiscating 768.4 grams of crystal methamphetamine packaged in 8 large black plastic wrappers," he said.

Furthermore, Shinto said, his party then continued to try to analyze and collect information to uncover other major drug dealers by continuing to arrest them in the Cikampek area.

"On Sunday (June 26) around the Cikampek Toll Road with an effort to forcefully stop a car driven by BY (54) and found two boxes containing 20 packs of drugs and two backpacks containing 20 packs of drugs in a car with black plastic packaging weighing 40 kilograms, " he said.

He revealed that at the time of the arrest of suspect BY, the police also arrested suspects RB (26) and ADS (28) in a housing complex in Bekasi. black contains 494 pills of ecstasy.

"The total confiscation of drug evidence from this cross-provincial cross-country drug dealer syndicate after weighing 43.2 kg of methamphetamine and 494 pills of Ecstasy, in addition to methamphetamine confiscation of other evidence was carried out on one Avanza car, one Nmax motorbike, electric scales, a bag, several units of cellphones and a shabu suction device," he said.
